FIU Law Immigration and Human Rights Clinic is a vital program at Florida International University College of Law that aims to provide legal services and support to individuals facing immigration issues and human rights challenges.

To The Community

We offer free legal assistance to clients who cannot afford legal representation. We focus on serving vulnerable groups, including individuals seeking asylum from persecution, victims of domestic violence, and those at risk of deportation.

Parole in Place Announcement

With the goal of promoting family unity in the immigration system. On August 19, 2024, DHS implemented keeping families together, a process for certain non-citizen spouses and non-citizen stepchildren of U.S. citizens to request “Parole in Place.”
